Argentina, green meadows in the most important dairy region of the country
Argentina is one of the leading countries in the world that has very specific weather conditions and natural benefit to the livestock in general, and especially for milk production, you must perform our Holstein cows. Between 60 and 70% of their diet is composed of fodder, either direct consumption of green pastures, features of our prairies, or conserved as hay or silage and between 30 and 40% based on mixture grains and by-products of different industries. The main dairy region is in the center and south of the Santa Fe province, which is an excellent dairy production area (location of our plant in the city of San Carlos, in the province of Santa Fe), east and south Cordoba province and central and northern Buenos Aires province. Within breeds excel Argentinian Holstein, followed by Jersey, Flemish and Norman.
